Introduced in the early 1960’s this radical design, helped by designer Ray Dietrich from the Automotive industry who added his little twist to the body shape, is one of the most recognised bass guitar designs. Oozing attitude this Epiphone Thunderbird bass makes a statement on any stage or in any studio in the world. With it’s classic vintage vibe but with a more modern punchy tone.

Featuring a Mahogany body and a bolt on hard maple neck this Epiphone Thunderbird bass has great sustain and a big tone. The slim taper neck has a great feel with a 34” scale length, 12” radius fingerboard and 20 medium frets.

Epiphone has developed a new bass humbucker TB pickup for this bass creating that vintage tone with plenty of punch and output but with top end clarity and with no hum. With Black hardware and the vintage style white pickguard with the classic Thunderbird logo.
